Librarian and English teacher hold holiday crafting advisory

During Advisory Workshop Wednesday, all high school students chose a class to participate in and expand their knowledge. One of the options was holiday crafting. In this workshop, students had the opportunity to create and decorate holiday stockings.

Art class experiments with drawing on 3-dimensional objects

Art teacher Marion Powers creates a project where students design their own boxes.  The drawings on each box incorporate clues of what is inside in the box. . Powers decided to do this project because she likes the idea of gifts, but decided that it has nothing to do with the holiday season in general.

Middle school principal implements “Outdoor lunch”

The new middle school principal Steve Guditus has started to bring middle school outside during their lunch block. They are able to run around and release energy before classes in order to maintain focus.

Cemetery visit teaches eighth graders setting

Eighth grade English teacher Vidula Plante leads students in an activity to focus on the ways that setting could raise conflict and offer solutions. Students learn about the use of setting to affect a story.
