The seventh grade students have began the frog unit in their science classes. The students are able to dissect real frogs in class.

Geometry students begin Rubik’s Cube unit

On May 24th David Alger began the annual Rubik’s Cube unit in his geometry classes. Throughout past years, the unit has served as the final unit of the school year.

College essay seminar comes to Manchester

Bill Caskey, Brown Admissions Officer, came to the Trask House of Manchester to teach students his presentation, “Writing the Infamous College Admissions Essay”. Students attended the seminar to prepare for the college experience.

Poems in the parking lot

English teacher Gloria Tanner’s freshman class went out to the faculty parking lot and wrote poems with chalk. This was a fun way to give others poems to read, and also educate the students about poetry.

Boys varsity lacrosse takes on North Reading

On Friday April 13th, the varsity boy’s lacrosse team was defeated by North Reading. The game ended with a score of 15-1.

A Cappella night raises money for senior class

On April 27th, the senior class hosted an A Cappella night at the high school. The singing groups consisted of the Manchester Essex Sound waves, the Pingree Spectrum Highlights, the Danvers Chamber Singers, and the Wellesley High Renegades.

Seventh graders act out stories for drama unit

Seventh graders in teacher Abby Whittredge’s English class practiced and performed a number of different story books for the drama unit in their class. Students were graded on performance and the way interacted with each other.
