The SoundWaves perform with and host: Boston University’s AFIX (with alumna Leanne Ciccone); Pingree’s Specttrum Highlights; Marblehead’s Jewel Tones; Marblehead’s Luminesence; and Hamilton-Wenham’s Kings of the Beach.
Tickets go on sale Tuesday, April 28th.

March 20-22nd – HS Band trip to Montreal
March 21st All-State Concert (Tucker Evans and Sara Rhuda, members), Symphony Hall, 1:00 PM – tickets in advance only.
April 10th – SoundWaves perform in “Sing Off” at Peabody HS – 7:00 PM All proceeds go to charities of each participating school’s choice. We welcome some spirited fans to cheer us on!
April 16th – HS SPRING CONCERT – 7:30 – featuring the Band, Chorus and SoundWaves.
April 30th – A CAPPELLA NIGHT – 7:00 PM – SoundWaves host and perform along with are groups from Boston University, Pingree, Marblehead and St. John’s Prep. Ticket proceeds to benefit the class of 2016.
Tucker Evans (’15) and Sara Rhuda (’16) both made the 2015 All-State Chorus after receiving recommendations to audition while at Northeast Senior Districts. This will be Evans’ fourth year in a row and Rhuda got in after her first time auditioning for All-States. Evans and Rhuda will be representing Manchester-Essex Regional High School in a three-day festival in Boston which concludes with the All-State Chorus Concert at Symphony Hall on March 21st.

Manchester Essex Middle and High Schools are collecting toys to be donated to Pathways, a non profit that helps families on Cape Ann.
Please bring UNWRAPPED toys to the main office before December 18th.

The High School Chorus will be visiting Boston’s Symphony Hall on Thursday, November 20th to have a pre-rehearsal talk with cellist, Yo Yo Ma. Following the talk students will watch an open rehearsal with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Tanglewood Festival Chorus and Yo Yo Ma.
The Manchester Essex SoundWaves will be performing with other local choral groups at a benefit for Ebola Aid and Doctors without Borders on December 12 at 7:30 pm. The event will be held at the First Church UCC of Ipswich, located at 1 Meetinghouse Green on North Main Street. The suggested donation is $20 per person.
Got any used or new books lying around collecting dust? The class of 2016 will be more than happy to take them off your hands for our used book sale. All types of books are welcome such as: thrillers, mystery, fantasy, sci-fi, non-fiction, comic books/graphic novels, and more.
Donation boxes will be located outside of the Middle and High School offices from November 3rd to the 21st. On Saturday November 22nd there will be a book sale at the Manchester Community Center from 10 am to 2 pm.
