Two students in the MERHS chorus qualify for the 2013 All-State Music Festival

After getting accepted to the Northeast Senior Districts, several chorus members also received All-State recommendations.  Auditions were held on Saturday, December 15th at Shrewsbury High School.

CONGRATULATIONS to Junior Lindsey Duff and Sophomore Tucker Evans, both of whom qualified for All-States.  This is Tucker Evans’ second year in a row; last year he was the first to make All-States and was then recommended for All-Eastern, yet wasn’t old enough to be eligible.  The All-State Festival includes a three-day stay at the Seaport Hotel with rehearsals at the World Trade center.

Lindsey and Tucker will be representing Manchester-Essex in the All-State Festival Chorus which will perform at Boston’s Symphony Hall on March 2, 2013 at 1:00PM.
